How Credits Work
Credits are used to process audio and video transcription.
1Credit≈ 1 Transcription Minute
Note: Transcription is billed in 1-minute increments. Any file shorter than 1 minute will be counted as 1 full minute.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! With the free plan, you receive 30 credits per day and can transcribe up to 3 files daily. Credits reset every day at 12:00 AM UTC, though the exact reset time may vary depending on your local time zone. Credits are consumed based on file length.
Log in and go to your account settings under "Manage Subscription" to see remaining credits.
If you have no remaining credits from your one-time packages or subscription, you will not be able to transcribe new files. You can continue using AudioConvert by purchasing a new one-time package or upgrading your subscription. Transcription will resume immediately once you have credits again.
Our checkout process opens a secure payment window. If it does not appear, your browser or an extension may be blocking pop-ups, ads, tracking, or payment windows.

Monthly subscriptions: If you have not used any credits during the current billing period, you may request a refund for that period.
Annual subscriptions: We can refund the unused portion of your subscription on a prorated basis, based on the remaining time. Already used credits cannot be refunded. If you believe you are eligible, please contact us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to assist you.
Yes! One-time packages can be stacked and have no expiration; they are valid until fully used. You can also subscribe to a monthly or annual plan while having one-time packages. The system will use the earliest expiring package first.
Go to your account settings under "Manage Subscription." You can cancel auto-renew anytime; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Plan upgrades or downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Billing occurs on the same date each month as your initial purchase. For example, if you subscribe on May 15th, you will be billed on the 15th of each following month.
All uploaded files are encrypted during transfer and automatically deleted within 24 hours. Completed files are only available for 24 hours after transcription, so please download them promptly.
Paid users can transcribe unlimited files per day as long as you have enough credits. Credits are consumed based on the length of each file. The maximum transcription length for a single file is 10 hours, and there is no file size restriction.
